Cloud phone systems installed and supported by a Belfast-based team. 028 number porting, desk phones, mobile apps, call routing and ongoing management across Northern Ireland.
Drakos Systems installs and supports VoIP phone systems for established and growing businesses across Northern Ireland, with direct support, number porting, desk phones, mobile apps and ongoing management. You deal with one person who knows your system, not a call centre.
Whether you are replacing an ageing PBX, moving office, adding remote workers, or just tired of a phone system that does not do what you need, we can help you move to a cloud-hosted VoIP platform that works properly from day one.
No on-site server required. The phone system is hosted in the cloud and managed remotely. Add or remove users any time.
Keep your existing 028 number. We handle the porting process and set up temporary routing so calls continue during the transition.
Yealink and compatible SIP handsets supplied, pre-configured and ready to plug in. Basic models to full-colour touch-screen phones.
iOS and Android apps so staff can make and receive business calls on their mobile, using the office number, from anywhere with a signal.
Professional greeting and call menu. Route callers to the right department or person without needing a receptionist.
Ring groups, call queues, time-based routing and out-of-hours messages. Callers get handled properly even when you are busy.
Voicemail messages delivered to your inbox as audio files. Never miss a message because someone forgot to check the voicemail.
Record calls automatically or on demand. Useful for compliance, training and resolving disputes. Stored securely and accessible when needed.
4G backup routers keep your phones working if broadband drops. Calls divert automatically to mobile as a secondary fallback.
If your business has an older Avaya, Panasonic or NEC phone system connected to ISDN lines, you need to plan a migration before January 2027 when ISDN switches off across the UK. Two options are common:
We can assess your existing system and tell you which option makes sense. See our PBX replacement guide for Northern Ireland for more detail on Avaya, Panasonic and NEC migrations.
We are based in Belfast and work across Northern Ireland. When something goes wrong, you ring us directly. No call centre, no ticket queue, no being passed between departments. The person who sets up your phone system is the same person who supports it.
We handle the full installation, port your numbers, configure the call routing, train staff on how to use the system and stay available for questions after go-live.
Ring us and tell us what you have. We will explain what is involved, what it will cost, and how long it will take. No pressure, no obligation.
Yes. Your existing 028 number can be ported to the new VoIP platform. The process typically takes 5 to 10 working days once the paperwork is submitted. During the transition, calls continue to route normally so you do not miss anything.
Calls can automatically divert to mobile numbers if the system detects the office is offline. Staff can also use the mobile app over 4G. We offer 4G backup routers that kick in within seconds of a broadband outage, keeping desk phones working as normal.
Most hosted VoIP systems cost between £8 and £15 per user per month depending on the features required. Desk phones range from around £80 for a basic model to £200 for a full-colour screen handset. There is no large upfront cost as there would be with a traditional PBX.
BT Openreach is switching off the UK's traditional PSTN and ISDN phone lines in January 2027. After this date, phone systems that rely on ISDN lines will stop working. Cloud VoIP runs over broadband and is not affected. If your current system uses ISDN, planning the migration now avoids last-minute pressure.
